When Mel is taken for a male Portuguese by the young hitchhiker Jenny she grasps the opportunity to escape her depressing life and reinvents herself. She bases her identity on her new Portuguese colleague Nuno. Jenny and Mel fall madly in love but it is only a matter of time before the lie is revealed…
